  1. Is it because you don’t know any alternative browser? If so, below, is a list of alternative browser in no particular order.
  2. Are you afraid of change or something that you don’t understand?
  3. You don’t care on having better internet experience.
  4. Because you’re my boss and still using IE6?
  5. Are you a web designer? And it’s you job to make my website works on all browser? Yes, it’s my job to make website works on all browser that compliance with html/css standard.
  6. Simply because you don’t want to?
  7. You’re using pirated xp edition. Come on, you could get your hands on pirated edition but don’t know how to pass wga? :D
  8. because I don’t know to solved CSS issue for IE6 or you only know how to make codes that only work on IE 6

I do aware that percentage of IE 6 user based on w3c schools browser stat still around 15.9% and not to support the 15.9% could leads to cutting off potential clients – not that I have many clients :D. But I don’t care, because you don’t care about the nightmare on having to support 3 versions of IE browser, and whining about why are you using 3 different CSS for each browser and not to mention .PNG transparency issue.

Hey you’re the web designer, it’s you job. Now that’s crass naive.

Fennec M12 Beta

Mozilla mobile browser, Fennec

Mozilla mobile browser, Fennec

Finally Mozilla’s mobile browser, Fennec enter Beta.

But don’t get to excited yet, because the beta is currently only running on the Nokia N810. The application utilizes Mozilla’s new JavaScript engine, Trace Monkey and plug-ins that would allow you to watch videos directly on websites. Right now the beta is in that first-beta-ONLY-for-developers stage

So if you’re using N810, get your Fennec here.

Is it really Flash?

PC Suite: Connection status

PC Suite: Connection status

Since my adsl down for 4 days (from 22 to 25), I decided to try out this Flash thingy. Well, my old k618i show 3G icon so my house should be in within 3G coverage + map of 3G coverage area from Telkomsel.
Hmmm, this is nice at least i can update/sent some of my work to clients. The 3G setting work smooth, just send sms to 3636 to activate the feature. All is set next to connecting to the network

Connecting to the network, runs well, and the connection status:

  • Signal strength:70%
  • Reception: Good reception
  • Downstream: average 80kbps based on 30 minutes of connection;
  • Upstream: 27kbps…; NOEESSS!!! I got 4 mega of files to upload
  • a lot of dc

HUH?? Well, this is brief my experience on using Telkomsel Flash or maybe should I say, Telkomsel Flash 3G GPRS

To sum it up: Telkomsel Flash FAILS for now.

Based on:

  • DC quite alot
  • It doesn’t even go near at least 384kbps (read: connection sucks bad)
  • Disable images on all page – out of 7/10 site: the page still wont load properly
  • hey, where’s my 3G icon? It’s gone….
